Growing Your Shed Business … Online

I have not been anywhere new since my trip to Washington so I will be writing about some of my workload on a daily basis instead.

Since my introduction to sheds, I have had several different opportunities to work alongside many different aspects of the entire industry. Here, recently, I have been able to work with my husband (Kyle) doing marketing for (SFS).

I have seen with my own two eyes the advantages a program like this could have on a dealer/manufacturer to help grow their leads and make sales an easier process overall.

There have been numerous positive reviews and success stories with different dealers who have used SFS including one such dealer in South Carolina who has sold several buildings from leads that came through
the website.

Also, other dealers who haven’t had a place to put their inventory online and are now able to do so using their “Dealer Direct Landing Page” that is offered.

After working with and learning more about SFS, I believe there are four key features of having an online platform to help your business grow that I will now share with you.

One of the key advantages of having an online platform is its ability to expand the reach and visibility of shed dealers and manufacturers.

By listing their sheds on the platform, businesses gain access to a vast customer base actively searching for shed solutions. The platform’s user-friendly interface allows sellers to effectively showcase their products with detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and customer reviews.

This comprehensive presentation helps potential buyers make informed decisions, resulting in increased sales for shed businesses.

Lead generation is of utmost importance for shed businesses. Through advanced lead-generation tools, such as contact forms and call-to-action prompts, a platform can facilitate direct communication between sellers and interested buyers.

By capturing valuable customer information, shed dealers and manufacturers can establish personal connections with their prospects and nurture these leads.

The result is an improved conversion rate, as potential buyers feel more engaged and supported throughout their purchasing journey.

Investing in search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and ensuring maximum exposure and visibility for listed sheds is paramount for any online shopping experience.

By optimizing website content, meta tags, and keywords, the platform increases the likelihood of appearing in relevant search engine results.

This targeted approach directs potential customers specifically interested in sheds to the platform, generating higher-quality leads for shed dealers and manufacturers.

It’s also important to actively engage in digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase exposure for dealers and manufacturers.

Through social media campaigns, targeted advertising, and content marketing initiatives, the platform promotes the sheds listed on its website. These efforts not only increase brand awareness but also attract potential customers who may not have been aware of the shed businesses previously.

By reaching a wider audience, the platform enables shed dealers and manufacturers to tap into new markets and expand their customer base.

For the record, there are several great online platforms that you can use in the industry, I am just sharing from a place of my own understanding. I think everyone would agree that it is important to help find something that works for you and make sure to follow up on those important leads that come in!

I hope this information, from my point of view, helps you discover more opportunities for your business to grow!

My next shed industry adventure awaits in Montana, so stay tuned for the next Shed Wife Adventure to continue.
