The success of the co-owner of Wichita, Kansas-based NewFound Rentals has caught the attention of his local business community.
Phil Carselowey was recently named an Emerging Leader by the Wichita Business Journal in its 2019-2020 Class. The Emerging Leaders group is comprised of Wichita businesspeople ages 25 to 40 who demonstrate strong leadership qualities. In order to be considered for the honor, a company’s CEO or owner must nominate the candidate for the opportunity, detailing why the applicant is worthy of the post.
The goal of the Emerging Leaders program is to connect leading businesspeople and entrepreneurs in the Wichita area with one another. During the year-long experience, members receive education and training designed to encourage continued success.
Moreover, each participant will participate in panel discussions with Wichita city leaders as well as meet with the Wichita Business Journal’s editor. They will also attend the Your Leadership Edge program through the Kansas Leadership Center.
“Phil Carselowey will be a great addition to the 2019-2020 Emerging Leaders program,” says Jaclyn Wooten with the Wichita Business Journal. “His extensive business experience and entrepreneurial mind will help Wichita better understand what we need to do to keep leaders like Phil in Wichita.”
“The team at NewFound Rentals is excited for Phil and this opportunity,” says Ryan Carbrey, a principal with NewFound Rentals. “We believe in being socially responsible and part of this is giving back to our community and helping other entrepreneurs in our community. This program will help provide Phil and NewFound Rentals a platform that will allow us to continue to do good things throughout our community.”
