Phil Adams, former manager of land and timber, has been promoted to director of timberlands. In this role, Roseburg says Adams will provide overall leadership and direction to all Roseburg-owned and -managed fee timberland assets, forest management, and real estate programs. He also will assume leadership of Roseburg’s strategic timberland acquisition and disposition program.
Gabe Crane, former manager of log acquisitions, marketing, and softwood resources, has been promoted to director of resource operations and sales. He now has overall responsibility and leadership of all Roseburg-owned and -managed fee harvest operations and raw material sales and marketing, the company says. He will work closely with Steve Courtney, Roseburg’s new director of solid wood resource procurement, to ensure alignment, coordination, and optimization of company log resources.
Tony Powell, former manager of resource technical services, has been promoted to director of resource technical services. Roseburg says Powell will provide overall leadership and direction for all resource information systems, inventory programs, forest planning, and business analytics. This includes all analysis for asset management, operations and sales, capital investments, acquisitions, dispositions, and valuations.
