One challenge shed owners often face is how to get wheeled objects up into their shed. When a shed has a floor system that elevates it off the ground 8 to 10 inches, that can be tough. For those who drive their lawnmower or quad into their shed, ramps are a necessity.
To help its customers with those challenges, Sequoia Sheds in Red Bluff, California, now offers heavy-duty aluminum shed ramps from Maple Lane Metals. They are built specifically to fit Sequoia’s sheds.
These shed ramps are tested up to 675 pounds per ramp. They are made from lightweight aluminum and are easy to lift, install, and replace. Finally, they will not warp or twist like wood ramps.
Sequoia Sheds customers can now order a ramp with their sheds. Customers who already own one of their sheds can purchase a ramp kit from Sequoia and install it themselves. The company says the ramps will work well with any shed that has a wooden floor joist under the door threshold for the ramp bracket to fasten to.
Each ramp is 22 inches wide and 46 inches long. A pair of ramps makes a perfect entryway for either a 4-foot-wide door or a 6-foot-wide door. They slide along a track, so customers can space the ramps to fit the wheels of whatever they wish to drive or push into their shed.
For 6-foot-wide doors, a set of three ramps is also an option to span the entire width of the opening.
