On January 22, the National Industrial Lumber Company (NILCO) held their annual Winter Buy Breakfast at Shady Maple in Blue Ball, Pennsylvania. This year’s theme was “The No Mud Mud Sale,” and despite questionable weather, the day was well attended.

In addition to the normal practices of updating lumber markets and offering Winter Buy Specials, the company says it changed things up and held a charity auction. Proceeds totaling over $4,000 were donated to The Morton Holmes Clinic for Special Children and The Caring Heart Workshop.

“Special thanks to those that bid successfully,” says a company spokesman. “We are proud and thankful to be part of such a close knit and caring community and giving something back was a small token of our appreciation to our customers many of whom utilize the services of the wonderful organizations.”
