Race Storage Sheds in West Seneca, New York, is providing aluminum splash guards along the bottom of doors for protection at no extra charge, the company reports.
According to Race, fiberglass doors used on sheds haven’t had protection at the bottom.
Over the years, the company says it has noticed that the water falling from the roof hits the ground and splashes back against the bottom of the doors. After a period of time, water works its way into the bottom of the doors and begins to erode the strip along the undermost part. A brown staining occurs and shortens the life of the product.
That’s why the company says it is providing an aluminum splash guard at no extra charge.
