Shed Haulers Bash 2020 Set to Ride

The 3rd annual Shed Haulers Bash will take place March 20-21 in New Holland, Pennsylvania, at Petra Church. The event will be Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.

The cover charge will be $10 per person, per day. Drivers who bring a hauling rig with truck and trailer will get in free.

Friday will be a meet-and-greet with all show-and-shine and lights contests held on premises. Also, the next day’s events will be announced to the attendees with drivers signing up for contests.

Before 5 p.m., attendees will line up all the rigs and pilot cars present and have a parade finding Yoder’s Restaurant in New Holland for a fully catered dinner (tickets required). 

Saturday starts at 8 a.m. in the Petra Church parking lot. There will be a tent there for shelter in case of rain and plenty of tables for people to sit and eat. There will be coffee and doughnuts there in the morning and a food truck there for lunch. There will be no official meal times as the contests will continue throughout the day. 

Vendors with literature booths will be set up inside the tent. Vendors with equipment booths will have outdoor space to display their equipment. to attend the event. 

Saturday will start with contests. There will be a timed contest for mule operators, pickups with trailers, and semi trucks with trailers. Each contestant will load a shed and maneuver through a series of obstacles before placing the shed at the correct spot with their own equipment.

There will also be a special contest at the very end that will only have three contestants, who will be drawn at random and announced Friday night. These contestants will not be allowed to participate in any other contests but will get a shot at prize money once other contests are finished. 

The three contestants will run a simulated delivery with unforeseen obstacles and situations to face. They will be judged by a panel of judges on different areas, such as personal appearance, rig appearance, time, safety, professionalism, efficiency, etc. Each participant will receive prize money with first, second, and third prizes.
