While the focus of Shed Builder Expo is to bring the shed-building industry together to do business, there’s another side to the trade show that organizers consider just as important: giving back.

This year, Shed Builder Expo is partnering with Stor-Mor Portable Buildings to support its Stor-Mor for St. Jude fundraiser.

Stor-Mor’s CEO Darren Warren was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma when he was 17. He spent three years in Memphis at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® before he was cured of his cancer.

Today, he is a husband, father, CEO, and country music artist. None of this would have been possible without the doctors and research at St. Jude.

During Stor-Mor’s 2023 fundraiser, the company helped raise $200,000 for St. Jude.

Attendees of the Shed Builder Expo will have the chance to visit the Stor-Mor for St. Jude Booth on the expo floor and donate to the 2024 fundraising goal of $250,000.

Show organizers are making a donation in the amount of $15,000 to kick off the campaign at Shed Builder Expo.

ABOUT ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL®

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its purpose is clear: Finding cures. Saving children.®

It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since the hospital opened in 1962. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Because of generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.
