Maryland-based Amish shed and furniture sales company has been in business for more than 40 years.
Woodland Sheds in Bishopville, Maryland, sells Amish storage sheds, rents storage pods, and offers over 7,000 pieces of Amish furniture.
The company has been in business for more than 40 years, and Chase Woodland is a fourth-generation shed salesman.
Two photos of interest he shares include overhead drone shots from 1984 and the summer of 2024 for a comparison of how the business’s footprint has grown.
“In 1984, my grandfather was just beginning,” Chase shares. “My great-grandfather sold sheds in Pennsylvania.”
The other photos he shares include some of his favorite and custom sheds.
“I think the economy varies by region,” says Chase. “Our area is still strong, but it seems the average shed sales and rent-to-owns are decreasing.
“We shifted with this and now sell more fancy/custom sheds (pool sheds/bars, sunrooms, 1.5-story, etc.) where demand is still strong.”
